Buhlmann-based approaches to modelling mortality rates for multiple populations.

The mortality rates between females and males in a country are highly correlated because they are exposed to the common factors such as public health, education systems, medical services, and living environment. The mortality rates among countries or provinces/states in a country also have a different degree of correlation due to similar exposures. This project, taking the correlation into account, uses Buhlmann-based approaches to modelling mortality rates for multiple populations. ACMA 320 is required and Matlab is the software for implementation.
