About the Department

Welcome to the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at Simon Fraser University.

Our members have research interests in a large number of areas. A Statistical Consulting Service (SCS) is also available to assist students and faculty members of SFU.

The Department has a strong co-op program at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Many of our students have gone from these co-op jobs to permanent positions with in the same organization.
